what makes it so cool:
If golden hour was a rug -- it would be the Almeria. It's got a cool, non-descriptive pattern that will look fab for years. Soft and silky. Looks curated and not like you went to a big box store.
what i love about it:
It’s the ultimate rug collectable. Hand-knotted, low profile means it’s not going to shed. Easy to clean. Will look incredible for years and years — extremely forgiving pattern for spills and stains.
where it works well:
It's gonna work well in spaces with a mix of "old and new" -- it's an intentional piece. It's flattering with warm and cool tones so it's gonna work with greys and ivories.
where it doesn't work:
This is the kind of pattern that goes with almost anything -- but that being said, if your room is already pattern heavy I would avoid this rug. It's gonna be a complex pattern and too much pattern in a space might feel too chaotic. I would also avoid this rug with bold, colorful abstract art. It needs landscapes, b&w photography...
if you want something more ______:
If you want something more plush, I would recommend adding a thick premium rug pad to give the rug some extra bulk.
