Slipcovered leather is always cool. It’s a very high end look for a great value.

It's comfy, edgy, and the kind of chair that looks good anywhere you put it.
where it works well:
It works well in a living room, office…bedroom…lower level…it would work really well with furniture that is upholstered and tailored to balance the slipcover / non-slipcover vibe.
where it doesn't work:
It’s wipeable and pretty low maintenance — but it is a leather that can scratch and show wear. While that speaks our wabi sabi language — if you don’t like furniture to age and patina…I would pick a synthetic material.
