Their family of 4 turned to 6, a pandemic started, all while living through the hassle of demo and reconstruction in a major remodel. When we first started this project we had no idea what the future would hold.
For this space, we chose a durable, washable linen as we knew that this would be well used and loved.
Our client had a vision of a three sided sectional and we are proud to have created this custom look just for her -- marrying components of several styles to achieve this look. She liked the look of the Donato but wanted a more juicy cushion so we opted for the Loft with the signature Cisco feather cloud pillows draped over the arms. Lastly, we added a custom ottoman for a makeshift chaise that would also double as extra seating or a coffee table when needed.
At the start of the pandemic, a lot of our vendors were just figuring out how to navigate shut downs in their states meaning stopping of production, so unfortunately this client's sofa was pushed back quite a bit. Luckily for us, this client was so understanding and patient and it was so rewarding for us to see the look on her face when she saw her sofa in person for the first time. We all almost teared up!
A 100% wool, hooked rug anchors the space together. We love the light tonal look with the sofa making it very cohesive while complimenting their custom stained oak flooring.
We are loving the look of white plaster right now -- this Fontaine sconce adds such a timeless look that blends in so seamlessly with the marble and light cabinets. This shot gives us such modern English cottage vibes with the exposed shelving and delicate hardware!
It's all about the details -- we are obsessed with these one-of-a-kind vintage pillow covers. They add a lot of texture and are unexpected, they also are extremely durable for the focal point of the room.
Each of our vintage pillows are one of a kind, meaning you are getting a unique piece that only you have!
