If you've been to the shop ~ you know I'm a bit of a rug nerd.  I LOVE the way rugs can transform a room, ground a design, and provide a functional solution to a busy lifestyle.  With all the options (and price points!) out there...how do you know what you are really looking for?

It all boils down to three key points: (1) construction, (2) material, (3) look.

{1} The Loren by Loloi Rugs

{2} The Java by Loloi Rugs

I've been crushing hard core on this rug since I saw it last summer.  Absolutely beautiful and timeless.  The texture is interesting enough to be a statement yet neutral enough to go with what you have on hand.  Kid factor?  I'd give it a B+.  It can handle popcorn movie nights...just maybe skip the bright colored juice boxes.  Natural fibers for the win.  It's a hand woven wool/cotton mix.  Made in India.

Best Rooms: Dining, Living, Office, Bedroom, Play Room, Laundry Room -- it's going to last and requires little maintenance.

Care Instructions: Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean sponge or cloth. For vacuuming, use a vacuum cleaner without beater bar or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion. Expect shedding. Professional cleaning recommended. Rug pad recommended for use on hard floor.
