Inside Sales Representative
Location: Remote
Amethyst Home believes that natural materials make for a peaceful home. We celebrate artisans and source handmade furnishings from around the world for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Inbound lead sales assistance
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
- Understand customer needs and requirements — recommend design solutions
- Route qualified opportunities to lead designer for further development and closure
- Identify and connect with ideal trade partners to provide design assistance and sourcing
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Collaborate with lead designer to build pipeline and close deals
- Keep detailed notes about customer feedback and opportunities
Requirements and Skills
- You enjoy working for a growing company and creating your own path.
- You are motivated by beating last month's numbers.
- You understand this business is relationship based and you love asking the right questions to understand the best solution for your customers.
- You have a track record of over-achieving quota and love the challenge of working for a start-up
- Experience in home furnishings preferred but not required
- Strong phone and e-mail presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Proficient with zoom, texting, e-mail, and social media
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
Base salary of $30,000 + commission.
